Please make the effort to make your own pesto; it tastes so much more delicious when it's fresh and it's obviously much better for you, as you know what’s gone in it :) I also recommend making some extra to serve with pasta for the kids' dinner on Monday if they are not keen on the chickpea curry option.
Teriyaki salmon has a slightly sweet flavor so your kids are sure to love this one. And fish cakes are just a different shaped fish finger (or so you can tell the kids!).
If you’re up for lighting the BBQ Thursday night, it adds a delicious extra flavor to the BBQ chicken, which is then beautifully complemented by the fresh courgette salad.
